Occupational Therapy is a profession concerned with promoting health and well-being. Occupational Therapy helps to enable a person toparticipate in the activities of everyday life, for example a person's occupation.

Occupational Therapists working in the area of soft tissue rehabilitation, focus on improving the function of muscles, tendons, and ligaments. A variety of hands on techniques including myopractic and myofacial, are used to release muscle tightness, break up fibrous adhesions, and re-train the body to use their muscles correctly.

Personalised stretching and strengthening programs are incorporated to help restore optimal movement patterns. Lifestyle factors such as workplace set up and sleeping positions are also considered in order to identify and manage aggravating factors.
